The answer to those questions is simple. Instagram. For those who don't know, Instagram is another kind of social network that is based strictly on sharing photos. It's only available as an app on mobile smartphones, but don't worry if you don't have access or use that app there are other methods to see the photos we post. The app first became popular on the iPhone and just a few months ago was launched on the Android platform. Its become very popular. You might have heard about it back in April of this year when Instagram made headlines after Facebook bought their company for $1 Billion. It was made official today.
So, what makes Instagram important to us? We are able to take professional quality looking photos of the newest frame lines from our corporate office and share them before they reach our individual greater Cincinnati and northern Kentucky optometry offices. You'll know the kinds of frames we carry before you get to our office. You can tell the optician the exact brand and frame model you saw on our Instagram profile.
Don't use or have Instagram? No worries. Because of the sharing functions built in the Instagram app we have it automatically set up to post to our Flickr, Tumblr, and Twitter accounts simultaneously.
